Union Public Utility District will begin our annual water system flushing next week. This important maintenance helps remove sediment from the distribution system and helps ensure continued high water quality for our customers.

Flushing will begin the week of March 9th and will continue throughout the month of April in various areas of the district. When crews are working in your neighborhood, you may temporarily experience:

• Reduced water pressure
• Slight discoloration of water

These conditions are temporary and should resolve shortly after flushing is completed in the area.

We will also be placing a sign board in the area where flushing is taking place so customers can easily see which neighborhood our crews are currently working in.
