Boil Water Notice LIFTED – Red Hill Road & Carson Hill Area
June 10, 2025 – Union Public Utility District has lifted the Boil Water Notice previously issued for customers in the Red Hill Road and Carson Hill area.
Follow-up water quality testing has confirmed that the water now meets all state and federal safety standards. It is safe to resume normal use of tap water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, and washing food.
✅ You no longer need to boil your water.
✅ No further action is required.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this advisory. Our team responded quickly to investigate the issue, perform necessary testing, and restore full water quality compliance.

What You Need to Do (If You Are in the Affected Area):
- Bring all water to a rolling boil for at least one (1) full minute before use.
- Allow boiled water to cool before using.
- Use boiled or bottled water for:
- Drinking and cooking
- Brushing teeth
- Washing fruits and vegetables
- Making ice
- Preparing baby formula or food
Who Is Affected:
This notice only applies to UPUD customers in the Red Hill Road and Carson Hill area who have been directly notified.

If You Are Not Affected:
- If you are not a Union Public Utility District drinking water customer, or
- If you are a UPUD customer but have not received a direct notification from us, Your water is safe to drink and no action is required.
